Bardic Magic is commonly though of as the magic of music. Many Bardic spells are called songs, and are more effective within the range of the caster's voice, or within the caster's party. Bardic magic is known for enhancing the abilities of allies with spells that affect a target over a period of time.

Many of the Bardic spells are associated with Heiroform, the language of the elves. It is widely believed that the elves were the pioneers of Bardic magic. The symbol of the Bardic school is a note, and the color most commonly associated with the school is gold.

The Bardic school of magic is considered to be opposite to the Summoning school of magic, as Summoning is a combination of Death and Terrestrial magic, while Bardic is a combination of Ethereal and Life magic.

The highest level of spellcasting skill that you may attain is 500, at which point you are considered to be a Grandmaster of that skill. Additional spells may be learned through research and explorations.

As a spellcaster, Spellcraft and Focus may be useful skills for you to learn. Spellcraft will allow you to cast at higher levels, while Focus will decrease the final Mana expenditure of a spell.
