Rubies of Eventide Quests - Norite Quest

The Rubies of Eventide Quest for the Norite Bracers is given by Norimar in the pub in Carthas. The reward for the quest depends on how you interact with him.

Selecting "I'm looking for adventure" followed by "Sounds pretty dangerous, what exactly would I be recovering?" followed by "I will help you recover the ring" gets you the bracers and 20 praxite.

Selecting "I'm looking for adventure" followed by "Can you tell me something about the ring" followed by "I will help you recover the ring" gets you the bracers but NO praxite.

The Norite Bracers, known as Metal Bracers before identified, are not only the best crafting bracers in the game, they are one of the best "lower arm" item period. With str +8, con +8, conjuring +15, armorsmith +15, weaponsmith +15" they are hard to beat. Norite Bracers require a minimum of 200 lore to be identified.

You obtain the ring by killing Thalas in ruins level 2. He is a night spawn mob with a 1-3 hour spawn time. If that spawn time happens to be at night, he will spawn, otherwise a new random 1-3 hour timer is set. Kill him and you get the ring. It is listed as a "simple ring" that requires a minimum of 200 lore to be. The other "simple ring" that he often drops is a "wedding ring" that can be identified with very low lore.

Giving the ring to Norimar affects the following reputations

• Your reputation with the Forge of Nor has increased
• Your reputation with the Temple of Nor has increased
• Your reputation with the Temple of Simri has decreased
• Your reputation with the Keepers of Secrets has decreased
• Your reputation with the Forge of Nor has increased
